Edit a widget you already use

Open its saved design, save your changes and check the matching Home Screen widget.

Updated

Find the design

  1. Open Library and locate it by name and preview.
  2. Rename similar designs from their More menus so you can distinguish them in system configuration.
  3. Open the design to edit it. To try a different look, copy it from More first and edit the copy.

Copying a design does not necessarily copy its referenced tasks or goals. The copy may still read the same record.

Change and save

  1. Select an object on the canvas or in the layer list.
  2. Change the relevant property. See text and color or images and cropping.
  3. Save and wait for confirmation. Profile → Settings → Widgets → Close editor after saving controls whether saving closes the editor.
  4. Check the matching Home Screen widget. If it is stale, verify the selected design name before following refresh troubleshooting.

If the changes do not appear

Keep the editor open after a failed save and retry as instructed. If another version exists, read saving and recovery before discarding your work.

Editing a copy does not switch a Home Screen widget away from the original. Prepare the copy for use and select it in the system configuration.

Change a record instead

Manage task, goal and date records in Profile → My Content. A record change can affect every design using it. See personal content.
