Parties and acceptance

These terms describe the rights and obligations between you and MuseScreen Team for the app, website and related services. Features that require acceptance will present it in the relevant flow. The privacy policy explains data processing; visiting the website does not constitute consent to optional analytics or other processing that requires separate consent.

If you are a minor, use the service with a guardian's consent and guidance. You must have the legal capacity appropriate to the actions you take.

Services we provide

MuseScreen offers wallpaper browsing, downloading, saving, setting, and sharing, as well as widget creation, editing, previews, import and export, and display on system home screens. Specific features vary by device, system version, region, and product version.

In-app previews illustrate visual effects. Actual home screen appearance, refresh frequency, cropping, and available features depend on the operating system, device dimensions, and permission status.

Software license

Subject to these terms, you may use MuseScreen for personal, non-commercial purposes on compatible devices you lawfully control, as described by the product. This limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license may be terminated only as provided by these terms or applicable law. Third-party open-source software and fonts are governed by their own licenses.

Unless expressly permitted by law or authorized by us in writing, you may not rent, sell, sublicense, copy, or distribute the software; bypass access controls; reverse engineer server APIs; obtain protected resources in bulk without authorization; or use MuseScreen for unauthorized commercial services.

Wallpapers, templates, and intellectual property

MuseScreen software, interfaces, branding, wallpapers, widget templates, and other content are protected by intellectual property laws and belong to us or the respective rights holders. A download or purchase grants only the usage license expressly stated on the relevant page and does not transfer copyright or other rights.

Unless an item expressly allows broader use, you may display it as a wallpaper or widget on personal devices. You may not, without authorization, resell or repackage it, create a public download library, remove rights notices, or use it to train, generate, and sell content collections.

Photos and assets you import remain yours or the original rights holder's. You must have the right to use and process them, and may not use MuseScreen to create or distribute unlawful content or content that infringes others' rights.

Usage rules

• Do not disrupt, damage, or bypass software, APIs, servers, or security measures.
• Do not download in bulk, mirror or redistribute protected wallpaper and widget resources without authorization, or bypass download and membership restrictions. Normal browsing and search-engine indexing that respects the site’s crawling rules are not restricted by this provision.
• Do not impersonate others or infringe privacy, copyright, trademarks, or other lawful rights.
• Do not use MuseScreen for unlawful or fraudulent activities, malicious distribution, or activities that compromise device or network security.

Paid content and membership

If one-time purchases, memberships, or subscriptions are offered, check the benefits, price, currency, period, trial conditions, and supported devices before confirming payment. The app store's payment confirmation page determines the final transaction details.

Payment unlocks only the benefits agreed on the purchase page and does not buy out intellectual property in software or content. Recurring products are also subject to the Subscription Rules, and membership benefits to the Membership Rules. Refunds, reversals, and payment disputes are handled under applicable law and payment platform rules.

Systems and third-party services

MuseScreen relies on third-party capabilities including operating systems, app stores, networks, image formats, and system widget frameworks. Third-party services are the responsibility of their operators and subject to their own terms. We cannot control their continued availability or all of their behavior.

When you send content to another app through the system share sheet, the action is your choice. MuseScreen does not control the recipient's subsequent handling of the content.

Updates, interruptions, and termination

We may update, adjust, or discontinue parts of the service to improve features, security, or compatibility. For purchased ongoing benefits that remain valid, we will provide service, alternatives, or treatment under applicable rules to the extent reasonably practicable.

If you seriously breach these terms, infringe others' rights, or threaten service security, we may restrict access, discontinue service, or take other necessary steps and reserve the right to pursue liability under the law.

Limits of responsibility

We provide services with reasonable professional care but do not guarantee that every feature will work perfectly on every device, system version, or occasion. System-scheduled widget refresh delays, third-party network failures, and force majeure may affect the experience.

We do not exclude or limit liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Loss caused by either party's intent or negligence is subject to applicable law and the degree of fault.

Governing law and disputes

These terms do not exclude mandatory consumer protections or other non-waivable rights under applicable law. Contact [email protected] first about a dispute. If it remains unresolved, you may seek remedies from a competent authority or court as provided by law.

Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms for product, legal or operational changes and identify the update date and applicable release. Material changes will be clearly communicated, with renewed consent where legally required. If you disagree, you may stop using the affected service and contact support about paid entitlements that remain valid.
