Wallpaper services
MuseScreen offers browsing, previewing, downloading, saving, and sharing curated wallpapers, and uses system capabilities to set wallpapers on supported Android devices. On iOS, images generally need to be saved to Photos and set through the system interface.
The website provides lightweight previews of the published catalog and setup guides. Web downloads are available only where a detail page offers a standard-size download. In-app HD resources may require membership. Website updates may lag behind the app; request a new download if a temporary link expires.
Widget services
MuseScreen supports creating and editing widgets and stores the necessary widget documents, previews, and asset copies locally or in a shared app container. You can use photos as widget assets and import or export widget packages supported by MuseScreen.
The operating system manages widget size, refresh timing, interactions, and background execution time. A delayed refresh does not necessarily mean the app is faulty; power-saving mode, background restrictions, storage, and system version can all affect results.
Time, weather and focus values on the website illustrate layouts; they are not live forecasts or timer results. Tutorials explain system settings and do not mean MuseScreen is available on every listed platform or supports every feature there.
System permissions
- Photo access: requested only when you choose photos for a widget, to read the assets you explicitly selected.
- Photo addition or storage writing: requested only when you save wallpapers or export content.
- Setting wallpapers: used on Android to perform wallpaper changes you initiate.
- Network access: used to load the wallpaper catalog, image resources, and necessary service content.
Local data and backups
General user data currently resides mainly on the device, including settings, widget configurations, imported assets, local photo copies, and caches. Uninstalling, clearing data, or changing devices may make this content unrecoverable.
Before uninstalling, migrating systems, or cleaning up, export widget packages or original assets you want to keep. The current version does not promise cloud backups or cross-device sync.
Compatibility and availability
Some features are available only on specific platforms, system versions, or device types. Resolution, system fonts, home screen layouts, and manufacturer customizations may cause differences between previews and actual results.
We may update resources, adjust features, or temporarily interrupt online services for security, compatibility, content licensing, or maintenance. Significant effects will be explained in a reasonable way.
Frequently asked questions
- Wallpaper will not save: check photo or storage permissions and available device space.
- Widget has not refreshed: open MuseScreen to refresh it, check background and power-saving restrictions, and remove and add the widget again if needed.
- Photo is missing: check that the original photo is still accessible, or select the asset again and publish the widget.
- Online content will not load: check your network, system time, and app version, then try again later.

Use in-app Feedback to report a problem, or email [email protected] if you need a reply. Include the app version, device and OS versions, and reproduction steps. Redact personal information from screenshots or order details. In-app feedback without contact details does not guarantee an individual reply.
For your security, do not send account passwords, full bank card details, payment passwords, or unrelated private photos. For purchase issues, you may include an order number or platform receipt with sensitive information obscured.
