Why the Home Screen differs from the preview

Compare the same design

1. Open the Library design and confirm the latest changes are saved.
2. Check the Home Screen widget's selected name and size, especially with several similar works.
3. Replace template samples with your real records before comparing. Sample values need not match current device data.
4. Allow time for the system to refresh.

Check appearance and layout

Compare Light/Dark appearance, font availability, text length, system text size, layer dimensions and parent clipping.

An Android placement can become larger while the design keeps its proportions. System rounding, margins or tint options can also affect presentation, depending on supported platform settings.

Data or presentation?

For incorrect values or photos, inspect the record and source. For clipping or position, check layout. For cropping, check images.

If the app is correct but the Home Screen stays stale, follow refresh troubleshooting.

Send comparable screenshots

Capture the app preview and Home Screen close together in time. Include widget size, system appearance and the affected area. Hide private information before sending feedback.
