Check the image you used
- Use the saved or downloaded image rather than a web thumbnail or screenshot.
- Check sharpness in the gallery first. If the file is sharp but the home screen is blurred, inspect system wallpaper effects.
If the app reports a successful save but the MuseScreen album is empty, check recently saved items in Photos. Add-only permission can allow saving without organizing the image into that album. If no success message appears, check Photo permissions. For a failed website download, return to the artwork page and click again to request a fresh temporary URL.
Check home and lock screen settings
On iPhone, the home screen can be customized separately. Check its Blur option and selected photo. Lock and home screens need not use the same effect.
Foldable inner and cover screens have different proportions; preview and crop each separately. A static image does not automatically gain animation or spatial effects when used as wallpaper.
Different colors or subject position
Remove extra preview filters, reduce zoom and check whether the clock or widgets cover the subject. For a model-specific issue, report the screen type and OS version.
Zooming fills the screen but crops edges and reduces usable detail. Zoom out and reposition the subject, then check the clock, notifications and icons. If they cannot fit comfortably, choose a composition with more space. See Wallpaper size and cropping.
The app’s lock and home screen previews help you judge composition; they do not set the system wallpaper. Preview clocks and icons are not written into the saved file. See Pairing lock and home screen wallpapers for composition and iPhone wallpaper setup for system steps.
